Foreclosures Redondo Beach Manhattan Beach Torrance

One of the many reasons people move to the South Bay, and the Beach Cities of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach in particular, is for the award winning schools. Buyers plan their moves and even their lives around these schools, but often make the move years before kindergarten begins.

There are some great options for daycare and preschool in the South Bay and all have much to offer, but one thing that they almost all have in common is a waiting list. Some of the local daycares are in such high demand that they have a year wait, so better to get on those lists early. I've had my experience with several of the schools in the area including Sea Sprites, Beach Babies and Montessori. As every child is different, and every parent is different, they each cater to different types of people and I'll keep my opinions to myself. Below are some of the local preschools and daycares and just a bit of information about them.

Montessori Schools of Manhattan and Palos Verdes - There are 2 campuses in Manhattan Beach. The Bell Campus is located in the farthest north area in the Manhattan Beach Tree Section and the Peck Campus is located just up the road from Mira Costa in the southern end of Manhattan Beach. Montessori Schools are not inexpensive and do have a long wait, but parents almost unanimously love it.
